The studio

A small team of builders, artists and engineers making Bedrock content that respects the player's time.

Artwork from a Nandola Studio world

The story

Nandola Studio started as two content creators from Indonesia who plays a lot of Minecraft. They wanted to make contents for Minecraft Bedrock players but they only know how to build and how to make assets, without knowing how to program advanced things. Then there's this Turkish guy who filled our gap as our Head Developer.

The name "Nandola" itself came from a wordplay of Javanese word "Dolanan" which means "to play" or "toys". So we aim to make quality gameplay from our contents to live by the studio philosophy.

How we work

Play it first

No feature ships on a screenshot. If it is not fun in the prototype, it does not go to production.

Native, not bolted on

Our content follows Bedrock conventions so it feels like part of the game, not a mod on top of it.

Ship, then support

Every release has a patch plan. We read the reviews and fix what players actually hit.

Common questions

Anything else, send us a message.

Do you take commissions from other studios?

Yes. We co-develop and white-label content for partner studios on a revenue share or fixed fee basis.

What do you need to start a partnership?

A short brief, your target release window and who owns the IP. We reply within two business days.

Do you hire juniors?

We do. A small, finished portfolio matters more than years. Show us three things you completed.

Where is the team based?

We work remotely across Europe and Southeast Asia, with a core team in Indonesia.
